Jack Frost History
In 2003 a major breakthrough in horticultural frost
protection was developed, using a simple concept,
Protect a crop by placing an insulating foam blanket
over it (called a Botanical Insulating Foam).
This technological breakthrough places a blanket of
Insulating Foam over a plant for a specific period
of time. This blanket keeps heat in (heat released
from the ground is trapped around the plant) and

formulation creates a foam that quickly sets a
strong protective outer layer (skin) as the
