Crops can have
foam applied earlier in the day when a field is prepared for foam application.
Wind-rows aid in allowing shadows to fall over a crop earlier in the day and
lowering the surrounding temperature.
With the aid of
wind-rows you can slow and in some cases stop high wind gusts from blowing the
foam off a crop, even in extreme high wind gust conditions.

Pictures of a watermelon crop saved
on February 27 & 29, 2008, in north Florida, USA.
Several of the pictures show the
Jack Frost Foam™ pushed away from the plant and visible frost is present as seen
in the background. Some of the pictures show applications of Jack Frost Foam™ on
a field that is designed (using crop wind-rows) to shield the crop from cold
freezing wind conditions that can occur. This type of planting design can aid in
two ways. 1) Earlier Jack Frost Foam™ application 2) Protect Jack Frost Foam™
from high wind gust.

Jack Frost Foam is applied by a
specialized foam cannon and tank
pump system that resembles a field
sprayer with some noticeable
differences. Always ask for
